About Me
My professional career and education
My name is Sydney Naseef, and I am currently a Strategy Supervisor at Spark Foundry in Chicago. At this award-winning global advertising agency (Ad Age & AdWeek’s 2022 US Media Agency of the Year), I help lead exciting brand initiatives across sports, sponsorships and more across channels for one of Spark's largest clients, Taco Bell.
In my previous role on the Spark Growth Team, I worked alongside a talented team in building the agency brand, developing pitch strategies and presentations, and managing local, regional and global pitch communications. In my 2.5+ years serving as a dedicated member of this team, I played an integral role in bringing in major new business wins including Meta, KFC, Humana and more.
I graduated with high honors from Michigan State University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in journalism and a minor in public relations. I excel in written and digital communications, content creation, strategic storytelling and design.

Before Martin Waymire, I was a member of the public relations team at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), handling traditional press releases and pitches. I also worked in marketing and events at Hour Detroit Magazine and handled communications for a local nonprofit, provideInc.
Throughout my college career, I held long-term positions as a writer and editor for MSU’s Red Cedar Log, and as the marketing and public relations vice president of my sorority, Alpha Chi Omega. I also regularly reported for the Spartan Newsroom, playing a key role in the development of the “Schools Of Choice: Change & Challenge” in-depth reporting project.
